Candlelite on "[Plugin: Theme My Login] Problems with SMTP"

Hi I have added then WP-Mail-SMTP plugin to my site as it seems that SMTP provides a more reliable delivery of email to various Email service providers. However when trying to retrieve a lost password with TML active I get the error report PHP mail () function not working. This is because WP-Mail-SMTP is set to send email via SMTP. If I switch WP-Mail-SMTP to "use PHP mail() function" to send emails all is fine. While in SMTP mode various other emails do not appear for example when adding a new user. Are there any settings in TML to allow it to use SMTP to send emails?
