I am attempting to use SMTP to send mail and have the SMTP server set to this (http://smtp.elasticmail.com). When I attempt to send a test email from the troubleshooting screen I get the following errors:
SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: php_network_getaddresses: getaddrinfo failed: Name or service not known (0)
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
When I change the SMTP server to this (smtp.elasticemail.com) I get:
SMTP -> ERROR: Failed to connect to server: (0)
SMTP Error: Could not connect to SMTP host.
Also, when I am using elastic mail. When I go to “Mailing Groups > Edit” and go down to the “Test Email Connection” button nothing appears to happen when I click the button. I have triple checked the SMTP credentials so those should be correct.
