Name not working for From

In my form settings, in the “mail” tab, for “From”
I have myname<web@mydomain.com>

all emails from this form arrive with a FROM name of “web”

I’m also using the “WP Mail SMTP” plugin, for which I’ve set the FROM name as “myname”, and have checked the “Force From Name” box. My understanding is that this setting does not override the FROM name unless the app sending the email is using the default “wordpress” name.

We are using smtp.office365.com for our SMTP, if that makes a difference.

I really don’t know what else to try. Any advice?
